The Muskingum 250 Committee is a nonprofit, operating under the 501(c)(3) of Muskingum County History. The committee was formed in July 2023, and Muskingum County became an official America 250 - Ohio Commission Community in October 2023. Muskingum 250 has received grants from the Muskingum County Community Foundation for the Trailblazers and Founders Memorial Project.

The 250th anniversary of American independence will be a monumental historical event. We are welcoming partners and sponsors who want to contribute financially to help provide programs and events for the citizens of and visitors to Muskingum County.
